Our journey began in 2019
There weren’t any well managed baby registry services around. We would find that buying off a baby registry caused duplicates for mom-to-be and it wasn’t very helpful for someone who has no idea what any baby things are.
That's where the idea for Lulla-buy came

We, Liz and Tracy (a mother, daughter team), created a user-friendly online baby store that would have helpful guides to show expecting moms what they might need for baby. A selection of the best products which included locally made South African baby items.

A personalised experience
We launched during the COVID-19 lockdown in South Africa, where moms-to-be couldn’t have the normal baby shower. We personally wrapped all the gifts purchased and delivered them to the mom-to-be so she was still able to have a celebration and the excitement of receiving personal gifts.
