Jungle Juice recipe to help with breastfeeding
After the birth of your little one there are many new things a mom is faced with, breastfeeding being one of them. Although your breastmilk does not come in until a few days after your baby's birth you can make sure you help promote more milk when you are breastfeeding, jungle juice is an effective way of doing that, making sure you keep energy levels up and are properly hydrated at all times.
It's a good idea to get all the ingredients to take with to the hospital for baby's birth.
Jungle juice ingredients
- 2 litres - water
- 1 litre - apple or berry juice
- 1 sachet - Blackcurrant Rehidrat®
- 50 ml - Schlehen Blackthorn Berry Elixir
- Add 10 drops of Herbaforce Rescue Remedy** per glass
Making and using your jungle juice
Mix all the ingredients together and drink the entire amount within 24 hours for best results. The rehydrate ensures your electrolytes are kept to optimal levels. The Rescue drops help to keep you calm while the Schlehen berry elixir promotes energy levels and keeps hormones functioning optimally.
You can opt for a reduced sugar option by replacing the fruit juice with rooibos tea, pre make it and allow it to cool.
